The Fall in friend wall: how it works and the house rules
Every ribbon on this wall belongs to someone who played all 99 questions. Here's how we keep it kind, safe and real.
Your ribbon
- One ribbon per person, with its own number. Numbers are never reused, even if a ribbon is removed.
- Online, your ribbon shows your first name, number, colour, any Flare, your nearest city and country, and the ribbons you're knotted or linked with.
- On the physical wall, your real ribbon carries its number only. Names stay online, where you can remove them.
- Surprise colours are genuinely random.
Why a city, not your town?
We only list cities with 100,000 people or more, or you can choose your country only. If someone lives in a small town, showing that town next to their first name could make them easy to find. Picking the nearest big city keeps everyone private.
House rules
- First names only. Your own, or a friend's with their permission. No surnames, nicknames that identify someone, or business names.
- Nothing offensive. Names go through a word filter before they show, and we check new ribbons every day.
- Adults only. No children's names, and no school classes or junior teams.
- No contact details anywhere, including inside a name.
Ribbon links
- Nothing links without consent. The other person must tap Accept.
- There's no messaging. A link request carries only your ribbon number and first name.
- Declining is silent. The person asking just sees "not linked".
- You can unlink, block or report any ribbon at any time.
- The browse area only shows ribbons whose owners turned on "Open to links".
Removing a ribbon
- Use "Remove our ribbon" in your ribbon email, or email hello@kiraben.com.au. No questions asked. The real ribbon comes off in the next batch.
- We'll remove any ribbon that breaks these rules. Report one using the Report button on its page.
What the wall isn't
- It isn't a dating or matchmaking service. A link is a ribbon tied to a ribbon, nothing more.
- There are no prizes, draws or competitions on the wall.
- [No part of the ribbon price goes to charity.] [Or: X% of every ribbon goes to (charity), paid (monthly/quarterly).]
